How
does our service work?
Upon registration your organization
will be assigned a Professional
Development Consultant who will
work with you to develop goals based
on your preferred timeline - 12 months,
24 months and/or 60 months. These
short-term and long-term goals will
assist with creating a customized
professional development program consisting
of courses specific to the training
needs of your staff. Once your organization
signs up, each staff member will be
issued their own user identity and
password. All staff member user identities
will outline which professional development
courses need to be completed. Management
will be provided with its own user
identity and password in order to
assess staff progress.
It’s
that simple!
Our Learning
Philosophy
We believe learning is a developmental
process, therefore, all our courses
are organized according to categories,
each comprising a specific body of
knowledge. Each category has a series
of courses arranged in a “building
block” format from introductory
to advanced. As the courses within
a category become more advanced, practical
skills are incorporated to assist
with integration and application.
Our multiple category format provides
non-profits with the opportunity to
focus professional development on
a specific category (body of knowledge)
or co-ordinate courses across multiple
categories according to needs. Below
is an example of category organization.
